The Hot List: New token in monopoly, Bridget Jones is back and cakes
Breaking up a Monopoly, Bridget Jones threepeat and cakes from an aceare all flaming up on the hot list.
Big Monopoly News: The iron token is getting permanently unplugged. That's right, after 80 years, the hot iron is being replaced by a cool cat.
The feline won by a landslide in a Facebook vote, clawing away competition like a robot, diamond ring, guitar and helicopter. The new cat will debut in summer. We can only hope thimble and race car can protect kitty from his obvious nemesis Scottie dog.
Dear Diary: The third Bridget Jones diary book will finally be published in November. Must celebrate with alcohol units. Oh wait, Fielding says Bridget has changed, and will now be counting twitter followers instead of calories and cocktails.
Ace of Cakes: Finally, the Ace of Cakes is firing up his oven in hopes of cooling a hot mess. You may have heard about the lesbian couple who made news when an Oregon bakery refused to make them a wedding cake.
Duff Goldman, star of the food network's ace of cakes, got hot under the collar when he heard the story, and went on Huffington Post to make an offer.
"I will make you a cake for free, drive it up to Portland at no charge, just to right this wrong because this guy's an idiot," said Goldman.
And that's what's cooking on The Hot List.
