The Drop: the latest and greatest in books

Here are the latest and greatest in books.

Music icon Rod Stewart has released a very detailed autobiography.  He talked about it on Good Morning America, and with a brutally honest Katie Couric.  Rod also brought the highlights to Jimmy Fallon.

Next, if you like action of a different kind, the king of legal dramas John Grisham has a new book out called "The Racketeer."  He told Stephen Colbert why he wrote it, and also gave a very honest warning on CBS This Morning.  "It ties together nicely at the end but you are clueless halfway through the book," he said.

Also new and for the kids at heart, try "Who Could That Be at This Hour," about the adventures of a young Lemony Snicket.  This book has the same sense of humor as the zany series.

Finally, how about a "Shoegasm?"  The new coffee table book features a wild collection of high-heeled art you can actually wear.  It's perfect for every woman's gift stocking.
