Here’s our list of interesting things to do this weekend:
THE RYDER CUP: This is where Europe’s top 12 Golfers compete against America’s best in Medinah, Illinois. The Ryder cup is only played once every two years, and we're hungry for a win because Europe's taken 6 of the last 8.
DUMBO ARTS FESTIVAL: Plunge into some cutting edge art at New York City's Dumbo Arts Festival. Last year, an artist created a 3D projection on the side of the Manhattan Bridge. Who knows what'll happen this year, as thousands gather to see the work of over 500 artists doing everything from painting and performance to supersized interactive exhibits. And it's free!
NATIONAL MUSEUM DAY: More free stuff on Saturday as museums across the country throw open their doors for National Museum Day. Get your art, anthropology or science on with this annual celebration organized by none other than the Smithsonian, which is free every day.
MIDTOWN MUSIC FESTIVAL: In Atlanta, the Midtown Music Festival is kicking off this weekend. Thousands will gather to bring on fall and party to the music of Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, T.I., Ludacris and dozens more.
