Rent-a-life of luxury to live like the rich and famous

Treat yourself like a celebrity for a day

Private planes, expensive cars, a lavish lifestyle.  Believe it or not, they may be well within reach, if you rent.

At Aero Jet Services in Scottsdale, Arizona, you can charter a small private jet for two hours for about $6,000.

"They start at around $4 million brand new," said Michael McCain Executive Vice President of Business Development for Aero Jet.  "Whether you fly one person or up to 10 people, it's one cost."

You're sure to feel on top of the world, and once you land, you'll need a place to stay.  Renting a $3 million estate near Phoenix starts at just $900 a night.  The 6700 square foot home features 3 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a theater, pool, and a spa with room for 12.

For as low as $300 a day, you can drive your dream car.  Rick Cox is in the business of making dreams come true.

"If you're married and you have kids, you don't own a Corvette or a Porsche. You own a minivan, and I think it's a good escape."

He started Rent-A-Vette more than 20 years ago.

The most popular car they you rent out?

"Dollar for dollar, bang for the buck, you can't beat a Corvette," Cox said.

But the company has since expanded its luxurious lineup to include Jaguar, BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, and a Bentley.

"A lot of times that's the case they can afford to rent it, they just can't afford to own it," Cox said.

Be careful though, driving an expensive rental could leave you feeling overly cautious.  One car even passed us on the shoulder.

Online, you can rent a wide variety of designer outfits at RentTheRunway.com or check out BagBorrowOrSteal.com  for high end handbags, jewelry and watches.

It's sure to bring out the celebrity in you.
