Salt or without; frozen or on the rocks, no matter how you like this concoction today is the day to sit back and sip because it is National Margarita Day.

Serving up more than 4 million of the frosty cocktails last year, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville may know this drink better than anyone.  To celebrate the holiday, the restaurant is holding Margarita University, your chance to learn how to make it from the pros.  The free class is being held from 3 – 4pm, with a 5 O’Clock Somewhere toast available to anyone. 

Matt Gallant mixed things up with Donilo Oribe at Margaritaville, learning how to make the perfect version of the drink.  It’s all about perfect proportions, and the shake.  Oribe says 30 seconds is the perfect amount of time to mix things up.  Margaritaville shared their recipe with us, so relax and roll right into the weekend.
