Tulsa company gives helicopter lights tour for kids with cancer
On Friday night, laughter is the only medicine these kids have to think about for a change.
Fourteen kids and their families arrived at Jones Riverside Airport in Jenks for a holiday party and helicopter Christmas lights tour courtesy of Production Air Services and Mint Turbines.
The companies put together the celebration to allow the kids who are dealing with cancer an opportunity to just think about something else and have a good time.
"[The helicopter rides are] laughter going in and excitement going out," said Danny Hickman of Mint Turbines. "Hopefully this is good medicine for the kids."
