Horsing around with the Harlem Globetrotters

As if playing a game of hoops with Harlem Globetrotters' veteran guard Flight Time wasn't challenging enough, we opted to throw in University of Tulsa head basketball coach Danny Manning to the mix.

The Harlem Globetrotters are known for audience participation, so we knew Flight Time would be up for a little HORSE play (as in the kids' game where you call the shots and your opponent tries to duplicate them) during his visit to Tulsa on a press junket.

Plus, 6'10'' two time NBA All-Star Coach Manning is in our backyard and we was happy to play along.

It's safe to say all of us could have used a longer warm up. But once we got brave and headed outside the paint for some wild, out-of-this-world shots, it was nothin' but net!

Well, that, and maybe a little TV magic.

Flight Time visited Tulsa to promote the Globetrotters' 2013 "You Write the Rules" World Tour Friday, February 8, 2013. For the first time, Globetrotters' fans get to decide the rules by voting for certain plays prior to the game. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. The referee announces the voted on plays at the beginning of each quarter.
