Realtor sings his way to the top

PHOENIX - Ty Lusk isn't your average realtor. The Phoenix man wrote a song entitled "I'm a Realtor" and produced a music video.Once it ended up on online, he began receiving a lot of attention.

"I think for most realtors, it's what's the niche. What can we do to show we're different than those other 51,000 realtors out there that people can choose from," said Lusk.

He says people have found him through the music video.

I'm A Realtor from CPD on Vimeo.

"I actually have had people come to me because they had questions about the area and they had seen the video," he  explained."

The video even won him the opportunity to open for the legendary Diana Ross when she performed for a real estate industry convention.

"That was unreal!," Lusk said.

His interest in music isn't limited to his first single. He also writes tunes which he plays at Gilbert hangout Uncle Bear's, where he works as a server.

"I just love people," he said.

Lusk has no professional music aspirations, at least not yet. Instead, his passion for real estate is keeping him grounded.

"I'm just so passionate about it, I don't think there is anything that could keep me out of real estate completely."
