Ravens fans score free furniture following the Super Bowl
Football furniture free-for-all
BALTIMORE - One of the most memorable Super Bowl 47 highlights was when Ravens Receiver Jacoby Jones electrified the crowd by running back the second half kickoff for a 108 yard touchdown. That record setting run also meant a big day at Gardiners Furniture in Towson, Maryland.
The retailer is making good on the store’s promise to give out furniture on the house. Any pieces purchased between January 31 and three o’clock Sunday are now free.
“I won! I won free furniture,” shouted Nina Bonaparte. The Baltimore customer is one of several Ravens football fans that scored free furniture during the Super Bowl.
Gardiners sold more than $600,000 of inventory this weekend. That adds up to tons of happy furniture and football fans.
This is the third time Gardiners offered the football furniture deal. But if the Ravens keep playing like this, they say they aren't sure they'll do it again anytime soon.
