Sure you can make a jack-o'-latern, but why not think outside the pumpkin patch and explore the versatility of this superfood?

PUMPKIN SOUP: Just chop up some pumpkin, onions, potatoes, carrots and add salt and pepper. Simmer for an hour and mash it down. With a bowl of this, you'll be grinning like a jack-o-lantern, and as warm and cozy inside.

FALL SCENTS: After you cut the top off the pumpkin, clean it out and use an apple corer to punch holes in the pumpkin for ventilation. Then rub some cloves and cinnamon into it. Add a tea light candle and breathe deep. You just made your own fresh and spicy room freshener.

PUMPKIN FACIAL: It's been a long day so why not pamper yourself with a sweet facial? For this one you can use canned pumpkin, mixed with milk and honey.  Apply the mask for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse off.
