Game On: Teamwork rules on this edition of Game On
It’s all about teamwork in our October 29 edition of “Game On.”
OREGON: In Oregon, a high school football player was back in the game after a heart problem nearly benched him forever. The crowd goes wild when Senior Xavier Coleman makes the play of the night during a recent game.
JERSEY: A Jersey boy was able to convince the NFL to use pink penalty flags for breast cancer awareness month. Dante Cano, 11, was inspired by his special needs sister who can't walk or talk. While watching a Giants game he thought, “Why don't the refs throw pink penalty flags during games?” He wrote a letter to the NFL, and they agreed.
VIRGINIA: Finally, the word sardine is the same in English as it is in French, and that's what the Virginia Cavaliers College Hoops team felt like when they got stuck in a tiny Paris elevator for 45 minutes. They had 12 people and the capacity was 13. The coach's kids helped in the rescue effort by handing bottles of water down the elevator shaft.
