Best Weekend Ever: Ragnar races, skiing in BC and a tree-lined marathon

It’s time to work off the extra holiday pounds.  Here are a few ways to get your body moving on the Best Weekend Ever.

KEYWEST RAGNAR: Get your run-cation by doing a Ragnar Relay Race where you can burn calories in a tropical paradise. Gather some buddies for this overnight running relay that's sure to test your limits. Each runner of your 6 to 12 member team will share the 200 mile journey that starts in Miami and finishes in Key West.

Sweat out the toxins while you soak in views of breathtaking sunsets, panoramic beaches, and bridges over blue water.

BRITISH COLUMBIA: If you want winter to feel more wintry, head to British Columbia where the holiday rush is finally over at the area's thirteen unique resorts. You can snowboard or ski where this time of year there's sunshine galore and the kind of snow you wait for all year.

British Columbia has the longest ski runs in the world. There's also a tube park for the kids. Or you can get a light winter workout just strolling through the charming villages.

CALIFORNIA: Get your cardio while taking in the heart-stopping majesty of the California redwoods at the Crystal Springs Marathon. Feel the grandeur of the ancient trees as you trek through 22 miles of wilderness trails and stunning scenery.

This time we’re breathing deep, on your best weekend ever.
