October means it's zombie season and that means AMC's "Walking Dead" is back. The premiere episode is Sunday, and according to our TV experts, it's "What to Watch."

Zombies have invaded and the group in the show survived -- or at least they're trying to survive.

If you missed the first two seasons, here’s what’s happened: Rick and Lori continually prove being married in a world of zombies isn't the easiest. Lori shacked up with Rick's best friend Shane when she thought Rick was dead. Now she's pregnant, but who's the daddy?

Andrea's younger sister was turned into a zombie, so Andrea killed her and turned into a very tough gal. Hershel let the group stay at his farm. Most of his family was killed while the group was there, so he probably shouldn't have done that.

Hershel's daughter Maggie fell in love with Glenn. They're still alive and fighting, along with the best-named T-dog and the crossbow-touting Daryl.

Oh, and then there’s Carol. Her husband was killed in season one and her daughter was killed in season two, so she's basically just sitting back hoping for the best.

The other ones who didn't make it out of season 2 are Shane, who was stabbed by Rick and shot by Rick's son, and wise old Dale who got his insides torn apart by a zombie.

This season, the remaining few are headed off to a prison, which is, of course, filled with zombies.
